In 2010, Dr. Mark Napoli, an interventional cardiologist and Monroe native, founded Cor Medical—a company that implements employee medical clinics and cultivates healthier, happier employees. Working alongside the healthcare industry’s top experts, Dr. Napoli continues to ensure Cor Medical patients have access to the most innovative, cost-effective care through virtual and in-person visits.
ULM partnered with Cor Medical because doing so aligned with the university's core values—investing in people. Partnering with Cor Medical means adding convenience and removing cost barriers so that employees can prioritize their well-being.
Comprehensive care. Our experienced clinic staff treats acute illnesses like stomach viruses and colds. We also treat chronic conditions like high blood pressure, thyroid disease, and diabetes. Our team also administers immunizations such as the COVID-19 and flu vaccines; provides preventative care and screenings; and refers patients to specialists as needed. Our mental health therapists teach patients coping techniques for stress, anxiety, depression, burnout, and emotional eating. Our physical therapists provide the latest in exercise instruction, dry needling, cupping, and ergonomics. Our registered dietitian helps patients with diet trends, diabetes meal consulting, and weight loss guidance.
Employees will pay a flat $50 fee. There will be no traditional copays following clinic visits. The monthly $50 fee will be automatically dedicated via employee payroll should the ULM employee decide to participate in this initiative.
Our robust patient portal expedites the registration process and reduces your waiting room time.
The patient portal allows you to view and book appointments, receive appointment reminders, refill your prescriptions, pay your bills online, and access your medical records.
Important health information can be shared with your regular healthcare provider.
Cor Medical will never share a patient’s personal health information without his or her written consent.
